Inferlysis began when our founder set to realize his lifelong dream of bringing next generation of neurotechnologies to the medical field. he set out to develop something that had never been built before: a safe, minimally invasive high-bandwidth digital connection to the brain that did not rely on invasive electrodes, which damage brain tissue. That drive informed not just the product but also the kind of company we wanted to build: one that would push the boundaries of neurotechnology

A high-bandwidth brain–computer interface is a foundational technology. It forges a direct connection between humans and technology. We believe that the implications of this for mankind are profound, and we are lucky to be a part of this revolution.

The applications for our system will be restoring functions such as speech to millions of severely paralyzed people. We are investigating other areas where our system can make a clinical impact in the near future.
